Anyway, if you've got a few minutes I hope you'll check it out. I've really been entertaining myself trolling the neighborhoods around here looking for unique, crazy, beautiful mailboxes.
I must have driven by that fish mailbox a thousand times. It's on the way to the school, the church, the grocery store and just about everwhere else. I never noticed it until I started taking pictures of mailboxes. And I swear that today, driving down the same road, I saw a mailbox in a golf bag. I've got to go back with my camera and check it out. Which just goes to show how little we pay attention sometimes. So don't forget to stop and smell the roses, or look at the mailboxes, or whatever.
I plan to keep adding photos to the collection so check back from time to time to see what's new. I know in a lot of neighborhoods mailboxes are a thing of the past, but in the places they still exist, you can definitely see that a mailbox becomes an expression of a homeowner's personality. Enjoy!
