Before we get to Wee Bit of Me Wednesday, I need to make an important announcement.
It's International Star Wars Commemoration Day. Celebrate you will.
May the Fourth Be With You.
Okay, on with the show.
I can't recall ever having used one. Of course, there are a lot of things I can't recall.
{two} did you ever fail a subject in school?
No, I was the Salutatorian of my graduation class. That's kind of like the Valedictorian but not quite as good.
{three} where do you go to get your favorite hamburger/cheeseburger?
This place called Stuft: A Burger Bar, where you get a long list and go through and check off everything you want on your burger.
{four} have you ever served jury duty?
I've been summoned two or three times, only had to show up once, and got sent home because the criminal skipped town.
{five} how old were you when you moved out of your parents’ house?
Seventeen, I guess, when I left for college. But I came back every summer until I got married. So 22 if you want to get technical.
{six} what is your favorite color to wear?
Brown or black . . . or red. Sorry, that's three, but it depends on my mood, or if I'm trying to look slimmer.
{seven} do you have a pair of shoes that you wear all the time?
I have 2 pair I wear all the time. The brown pair and the black pair. I have a winter set of brown/black shoes and a summer set of brown/black sandals. I switch depending on which shirt I'm wearing (see question six). If I wear the red shirt, then it's a tough decision.
{eight} do you enjoy talk radio?
No. Just no.
{nine} if you could turn one unhealthy food into a healthy one, what food would it be?
French fries. Or cheese.
{ten} who is the best speaker you’ve ever heard in person?
Jeffrey R. Holland. Favorite speaker ever. Because he says things like this:
God expects you to have enough faith and determination and enough trust in Him to keep moving, keep living, keep rejoicing. In fact, He expects you not simply to face the future; He expects you to embrace and shape the future--to love it and rejoice in it and delight in your opportunities. God is anxiously waiting for the chance to answer your prayers and fulfill your dreams, just as He always has. But He can't if you don't pray, and He can't if you don't dream. In short, He can't if you don't believe.
